(KIDS CLUB)
We provide cheerful, engaging activities to promote school readiness, lifelong learners and a more confident child. For parents and daycare teachers, our unique program allows participation in a fun environment while instilling a love and understanding of music in their child. They get to take what they learned at the class and implement it into their everyday lives to continue to encourage development at home everyday.
Ratio depends on the age of the children involved 5-12 children (with caregiver) : 1 teacher
Baby’s First Music Class
0-18 months
Make baby’s first class musical! The Foundations class offers a sensory-rich yet gentle environment where infants can explore, react to new sounds, sensations, and objects.
What to expect: Listening to and experiencing songs and rhymes. Back-and-forth vocal plays and interactions that build neural pathways in a baby’s developing brain. Exploring baby-safe instruments and other object play. Baby-caregiver bonding exercises, including story time, massage, and relaxation activities.
Older Toddlers
18 months - 2 years
Encourages older toddlers to initiate their own ideas and explore their creativity. Each class offers plenty of fun outlets for toddler-style energy, promoting cognitive development through singing, dancing, and instrument play.
What to expect: Exploring movement concepts and participating in musical interactions with objects and others. Discovering different ways instruments can make sounds and experiencing a wide range of musical concepts. Identifying and vocally imitating sounds and learning to describe them. Learning to associate a picture with a sound. Singing songs with language patterns that explore rhythm, speech sounds, syntax, and rhyme.
Pre-School Music
4 - 6 Years
Provides exciting first experiences with musical symbols and more complex instruments, laying the groundwork for formal music instruction on any instrument.
What to expect: Listening to a variety of sounds, including music from individual instruments and complete compositions that highlight specific genres, cultures, composers, or concepts. More complicated instrument-play, such as dances with instrument patterns, back-and-forth rhythm conversations with instruments, and songs with accompanying instrument patterns. Experiencing various types of movement, including creative movement, movement with a partner, group, instruments, or props, and movement that explores concepts like high/low or staccato/legato. Singing a variety of songs in an appropriate range and engaging in call-and-response, echoing, and instrument play. Pretend play through music, vocal development, storytelling, listening, and movement. Introduction to music concepts and vocabulary.
Young Toddlers
1-2 years
Offer your young toddler a stimulating environment to explore their new movement and language skills with a sense of security, comfort, and confidence.
What to expect: Discovery and play with scarves, hoops, mirrors, and more. Instrument play and introduction to basic music concepts such as high/low, fast/slow, and holding a steady beat. Singing songs that include motions, repeated words, and different meters and modes.
Littles Music
3 - 5 years
Encourages younger kids to initiate their own ideas and explore their creativity. Each class offers plenty of fun outlets for younger-style energy, promoting cognitive development through singing, dancing, and instrument play while introducing short listening activities.
What to expect: Exploring movement concepts and participating in musical interactions with objects and others. Discovering different ways instruments can make sounds and experiencing a wide range of musical concepts. Identifying and vocally imitating sounds and learning to describe them. Learning to associate a picture with a sound. Singing songs with language patterns that explore rhythm, speech sounds, syntax, and rhyme. Playing non-pitched instruments to the beat or rhythm.
Daycare Traveling Group Classes
Mixed 0-6 years
Lessons will be altered to fit the needs and curriculum of the daycare we visit. Each class will be altered to fit the needs of the school and age group of each class coming in.
